APPEARANCE:
Zyrath is stocky for a green, with a broad chest and visible muscles rippling with each movement. Her wings are longer than the norm, offering her a little more endurance at the cost of a little agility. She is overall of average size, reaching 39 feet at full growth, and well proportioned, though her tail is notably longer proportionally than in most dragons.
Her hide is mostly a pale, muted sage green, with only a few places bearing a different shade. A slightly darker green starts just before the first 'finger' on her wingsail and trails along the edge. On her face, from her nose to her eyes, the color appears almost as a mask.

If Zyrath had her way, she wouldn’t have Impressed at all. Fiercely independent, she resents the fact that she cannot live without her bond to her rider. She refuses any help offered to her, stubbornly insisting on doing everything herself even if she is entirely incapable of the task. Her rider will have to have a very strong will and endless patience to deal with her properly, otherwise this dragon will rule their partnership completely. She seems to have a disdain for humans in general, seeing them as weak, powerless things that can’t even survive on Pern without the help of dragons to keep the planet free of Thread. While she would never outright attack any human, her instincts prevent her from such things, she will delight in tripping them with the right placement of her tail on a regular basis, including her rider. She will never deign to speak with any human but her rider, and such commentary will be drenched in sarcasm and scorn. It may be possible for her rider to earn her respect, but that will take great feats and plenty of time to accomplish. In the mean time she tolerates and protects them only for the simple fact that she cannot survive without them.
Zyrath thinks very highly of dragonkind as a whole, seeing her species as vastly superior to humans, who depend on them for so much. She is proud, and believes she deserves every bit of respect the vast majority of Pern accords dragons. However, as a Green, she finds herself accorded significantly less respect than she believes she deserves, and is not afraid to make her displeasure known with intimidating posturing and roaring should any human disrespect her for the color of her hide. The hierarchy of dragons is as ingrained in her as any other dragon, and she will show proper respect and obedience to higher ranking dragons, but she by no means believes she deserves less respect than they do when it comes to humans. Her relationships with other dragons will be quite civil, reigning in her sharp tongue, for the most part. However, she is as flirtatious as most would expect of a Green, fickle and mercurial in her attentions and desires from the males of her species. She will rise often and she will likely never choose the same male more than once, unless he manages to catch her himself.
