NAME: Elisia
RANK: Cotwife
AGE: 21 (Born 16 Turns before the start of the Pass)
GENDER: Female
ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
APPEARANCE: Elisia stands at a rough five feet, four inches. She has red hair that falls in gentle waves just past her shoulders. Her eyes, a pale grey-blue, are wide and often have a distracted, dreamy look to them. Her skin is fair, her frame petite. She can usually be found in various skirts and soft blouses.
PERSONALITY FAULTS: Elisia is completely single-minded. She often is unaware of how forceful she is in attempting to get her way, and unfortunately doesn't realize it until much later. The “baby” of the family (in reality, she is only the youngest daughter), she is also quite used to getting her way, and when this does not occur, she finds herself at a loss. Flighty in nature, she often flits from one idea to the next, leaving half-finished projects often in her wake. Very traditionally-minded, she hates the idea of girls riding anything but gold or green, and believes women are best in use at the home.
PERSONALITY STRENGTHS: Family is everything for this woman. If a family member comes to distress, Elisia is the first on the scene to help. She truly shines as a wife and mother, and takes pride in the home she has made for her husband and children. She is a romantic at heart, believing fully in the mythos of the Weyr. To her, dragonriders are heroes, Weyrwomen are fair ladies, and the dragons they ride are gallant, noble beasts.
Additionally, she is quite good at crunching numbers, and often does the inventory for her husband's trading business.

HISTORY: Elisia was the second-born to the woodcrafter Mikol and his wife Cheriti within Nerat. Even at a young age, she was adept at getting her way, and even after her brothers were born, both parents and elder sister still called her the “baby” of the family. When her brothers began apprenticing with their father, Elisia was the one to bring them meals on hard workdays, mend clothing when it tore, and go into town with their mother for trading and shopping.
Never understanding her elder sister's need to be away from the quaint life they lived, Elisia was all the same happy to help Mollin skip out on chores or “womanly” crafts, sometimes merely feigning ignorance on her sister's whereabouts, sometimes actively working for Mollin so as not to bring suspicion.
She became quite good at needlepoint this way.
When her sister fled to Ista Weyr, the then newly-married Elisia was heartbroken. She'd hoped Mollin might settle down, seeing the joy Elisia herself felt in marriage. When it was clear she wasn't returning, Elisia began writing letters back and forth to her sister, cheering her efforts on.
In recent months, such letters have grown dark; depression ruled over her elder sisters words, and after visiting Mavros, Elisia took it into her mind to convince her husband to move their family to the little seahold. There, she has taken to playing mother hen over her sister, as well as working within the creche while her husband eagerly works at forging new trade lines for their new home.
