In a word that most Pernese would never expect to apply to a brown dragon, Anatath is... cute. He will smaller than even some blues, reaching only 52 feet at full growth. He is a compact little brown, with short legs and short wings which cost him greatly on the endurance front. He otherwise still has a fairly typical brown build, more muscular than the stereotypical blue or green, but not to an extreme. His hide is bicolored, with his lower half being a pale golden brown and his upper half a rusty orange-brown.
PERSONALITY: Obedient, Sensitive, Childish, Optimistic
This brown has a rather childish mentality. This isn't to say he's immature, exactly, just that he views the world with the innocence of a child. Every new experience will be met with equal wonder and enthusiasm and he will find joy in the simplest things in life; trundlebugs crawling over his toes, a pretty flower, the colors of the sunset, the way rain feels on his hide, all equally wondrous experiences to Anatath. This brown simply enjoys life. He has the potential to be annoyingly optimistic and seems to be able to see the silver lining in just about any situation. However, his rider will soon learn that this endless optimism is often times a front, a coping mechanism, for Anatath is actually incredibly sensitive.
He feels deeply and has great empathy for others, and insults, bullying, seeing others hurt, losing classmates or wingmates, will affect him greatly. However, he retains his cheerful disposition for others' sakes. He doesn't want to add to everyone's burdens by being upset and requiring comfort, instead trying to cheer others up, to give something positive to focus on in the midst of their own troubles, to give them hope in their darkest times. It is entirely likely that he will try to bottle up his own emotions until he simply overflows with them if his rider isn't careful to allow him some form of emotional release from time to time. An obedient dragon, he will make a dutiful wingrider one day, quick to follow orders and taking his role seriously.
Anatath will never have the stamina to last through a goldflight and he knows it, therefore he's more than happy to leave chasing the larger ladies to his larger peers. Flights can be fun, however, and he will certainly chase greens on occasion, especially if encouraged to do so by his rider.
