ABILITIES
AGILITY: 1
SPEED: 3
ENDURANCE: 9
PERSONALITY: Slow, Calm, Silent.
Enormous and silent, Leviath makes an impression wherever he goes. Some may find him intimidating, while others may simply be awestruck by his sheer size, the power in his rippling muscles and the shadow of his great wings. Whether he’s silent because he’s contemplating the deep mysteries of the universe or simply which herdbeast he’s going to eat next sevenday, even his rider cannot be sure. What is sure is that wherever he is, Leviath seeks to distinguish himself, and often does so effortlessly, because of his sheer size and strength. In the air he can easily last a full fall. But he’s clumsy in flight, unable to make quick turns, and is not nearly as fast as some of his brethren. He moves slowly, ponderously, in a manner which befits a dragon of heroic proportions. Calm and unshakable, he’s unsettled by very little, and possesses an innate self-confidence. But he’s never shown much sign of superior intelligence, despite his long silences, so it’s likely most of his mental efforts go towards distinguishing himself and pondering the afore-mentioned herdbeast, rather than towards any higher purpose.
Leviath hardly ever speaks, and when he does it is in small bursts, seldom more than a few sentences long. While his mental presence can always be felt, the low rumble of his mind voice sounds only when he has something vital to communicate. He'll read his rider's thoughts and act accordingly, learning to anticipate needs before they become requests - and though sometimes he may misinterpret his lifemate's desires, in most areas he will generally have a good sense of what is and is not necessary for him to do. He'll need to be instructed when it comes to performing complicated tasks, and will take a long time to learn them: what he learns, though, his body will never forget. He finds it extremely difficult to even think of addressing someone other than his rider, and would only ever do so in a life or death situation.
