Oh! What's over there, B'zor?!
Litniroth, as strangely slender as ever, bounded through the trees, wings tucked in, looking more like a tunnelcat than a dragon as he moved. His rider wasn't far behind, jogging with ease through the rotting leaf litter and fallen limbs. This was where he felt the most at home, despite his love of the Weyr. Now that his little brown dragon was old enough to not want to eat or sleep every other hour, he felt that it was time to share this love of his with Litniroth. He doubted the young dragon would understand it but the forest and jungle were as much a part of him as the brown was. Of course before he got halfway to what Litniroth was asking about, the brown was off in the opposite direction having spotted something else.
B'zor laughed and took off after his dragon once more and when Litniroth finally stopped, so did the young man. He'd found a tree covered in flowering vines and platform fungus and moss and was sniffing it all. Leaning against another large tree, B'zor watched, smiling, as his dragon circled the tree several times before rising up on his hind legs and trying to scramble up the side. Lurching forward, he grabbed hold of the brown's tail and tugged. "Oh no you don't. You're too be fer me to get back down if ya get stuck!"
But I want to see what's up there!
Despite his desire, Litniroth slid to the ground and plunked down on his rump, neck arched as he stared at his rider. He was far too large to peer up at the man any more still wasn't quite large enough to effectively loom over him either. Not that he wanted to loom. Looming was something Sularenth did...it was scary. Though when she did it it was also pretty. So very pretty. Distracted, the brown tilted his head, remembering the glimmering egg that the gold had emerged from and the fragments of it he'd stashed in their weyr behind his couch.
"I'll climb up and you can look through my eyes. Sound good?"
What? Climb up where?
"The tree."
Oh! Yes, please!
B'zor circled the tree once and then using Litniroth for a boost, grabbed the lowest branch and hung for a moment. As he did so, Fluffy scrambled out of the mans shirt, up his arm and onto the branch, climbing nimbly up the tree as B'zor pulled himself on the branch with ease. Grinning, the man quickly scaled the branches then paused in the crook of a branch, leaning on the trunk of the tree and let Litniroth see through his eyes. It was still a bit disconcerting but they managed and below the brown let out a squealing rumble, a sound he wasn't likely to outgrow; not that B'zor minded. Above him, Fluffy chittered, breaking the connection and the man blinked, looking around.
