Name: Zardilath (zahr-dill-ath)
Agility: 5
Speed: 7
Endurance: 6
Size At Full Growth: 55 feet
Speaking Color: 799DF2
Appearance:
On the larger side for his color, Zardilath is the largest Blue in his clutch. He is on the bulkier side as well, more well muscled than most Blues. However, his light, pale sky blue coloring gives him the illusion of being smaller than he really is. His hide is completely unmarked. His wings are longer than most blues, lending him extra endurance that most of his color will never have, at the cost of a little agility.
Personality
Chivalrous, Serious, Shy, Needy.
Zardilath has an air about him that you would almost expect to find in a Bronze. It isn't arrogance, or even confidence, for Zardilath indeed seems to have a distinct lack of confidence in himself, but instead there is a sense of honor in him that is nearly contagious. Zardilath always seeks to do his best, to go above and beyond not because he likes recognition or because he is ambitious, but simply because it is the right thing to do. He is resoundingly serious about everything in life and can honestly be a bit of a stick in the mud when it comes to the more light-hearted side of living.
Sarcasm is far beyond his ability to comprehend, jokes will simply get you a blank stare, and pranks could be met with anything from hostility to sorrowful sulking as he will take it as bullying rather than friendly fun. He is incredibly shy, quiet, withdrawn, and hardly ever speaks with anyone but his rider. He always seems to find himself lacking, inadequate, and seems to think that he does not deserve the company of others. He will be prone to sulking and lonliness if his rider does not reassure him, often, that he is wanted and loved, valued, and if they do not push him to interact.
Zardilath is not likely to chase often, unless pushed to do so by his rider. Losing a flight will devastate him, confirming to him his own worthlessness and he will mope for sevendays after the fact, even when his memory of what caused this mood has faded. He will be hesitant to chase for fear of losing and proving before the whole Weyr his inadequacies when he inevitably loses. However, were he to manage to win a flight, it would boost his self-esteem immensely and he would tend to prance about the Weyr for some days after, celebrating his victory, one of the few times his serious and somber mood would fall away.
