G'der - Blue Chizaith
Remember mine, patience. They are young.
G’der nodded waving his hand dismissively at his bonded. How many times had they gone over this? I’m fine. I’m cool. I’m patient. He said, calmly, showing that he remembered indeed their conversation. Chizaith hummed in his mind, content to let him go now. He was grateful to the old blue. He kept him grounded. G’der was proud that he had sired children who had grown into young dragonriders. His seed was strong, and he wanted all to know it. He even wanted them to know it. He had failed when it had come to being an active part of their lives, but he wanted to be better. He wanted to be a part of their lives now. He just had to convince them of that.
They may not be receptive to you right away.
I know. But as I told Molia, I’m turning over a new leaf. I will show them I am willing to work for it. Shards, it was the first substantial thing he was willing to work for in his whole entire lifetime. But hey, at least he had had an exciting life.
You will do well to remember that. They have your temperament.
He chuckled at that, picturing his son standing up to him, defending his sister. Shards, he hoped they weren’t actually lovers, because things would get very awkward very fast if they were. The had both denied it, so there was that at least.
Oh, will you ask blue Quilath and green Amagetith to ask their riders to meet me in the dining cavern?
Siorreya – Green Amagetith
She was looking through the wares, looking for something very specific, she just wasn’t sure yet what it was. She game upon the green silky scarf and gasped.
“Thisthisthisthis. Don’t you think it’s perfect?” She wrapped it into her hair after placing some marks into the vender’s hand. “How does it look? It’s perfect right?” She turned to Maz’ru and tilted her head one way, and then the next, showing it off. “Now imagine me showing up to the next gather in a white dress with green designs of some kind and this in my hair.”
She gave him the picture, finished her modeling, and started pulling it out of her hair. She didn’t need everyone to see it yet. “Shards, I can’t wait for another Gather. I could use some dancing.” She swayed her body back and forth slowly as she tucked her new acquisition in her bag hanging off her shoulder.
Suddenly Amagetith’s voice came into her voice. I was interrupted from my lovely nap by blue Chizaith. He has informed me that his rider would like to see you in the dining cavern again. Do you need me to tell him to shove between. Why the shards was he back? It had only been a few days, and her stomach dropped with dread. Siorreya’s eyes narrowed, and she turned to Maz’ru. No, tell him if he wants to see me he can very well find me amonst the venders in the weyr commons.
“Well, how’s that, the threadfodder came back! Shards and shells!!! He wants me to see him in the dining cavern. Well, if he wants to see me, he can very well come here himself. I don’t follow orders from the likes of him.” She put her hands on her hips, showing off her extreme dislike, her nostrils flaring.
