Siorreya - Green Amagetith
There had been resolve. And then more resolve. She was Siorreya. The pit she had in her stomach was easy enough to explain now-she wasn’t being herself-that’s all it was. She needed to be herself. Her reaction to Podrell, their fight and then his reappearance, the frantic fear and anger he had inspired, none of it was her. She couldn’t let him affect her. Wouldn’t. Today was about having fun, and fun was all she would have.
The races had been a good start, with the wind in her hair and the exhilaration of competition. She had gone to the stalls next with her friends, Kekoa trailing them serenading them as they giggled and shopped. Then Kekoa had herded them out onto the dance floor. He had given her a few lively dances, keeping her out of breath with his ridiculous compliments and jokes, as well as his dramatic moves. When she had escaped him (or had he escaped her?), she hadn’t had any trouble finding willing partners, and she had passed from partner to dance partner with hardly time to catch her breath.
She was succeeding beautifully, having fun. One of the brownrider’s held her close for a semi-lively dance, spinning her around. The silkiness of her green dress she had worn at her graduation felt magical while she danced, which was more what she was thinking about then her actual partner. She could tell he was hoping for more then a dance, and she was having fun, maybe a little too much fun, toying with him. The greenrider wasn’t willing to end her evening here, not yet at least. She raised an eyebrow at the man holding her as he pulled her from a spin, right into him, and executed a few sharp pivots. He gave her a broad smile, winking at her, his arm tightening around her waist before he twirled her out again. When the song came to an end, she couldn’t help but giggle at the dip he put her in.
She could feel the insistence in the way he pulled her up, and she placed her hand on his chest to keep him from kissing her.
“Ah ah ah, T’elk, I agreed to a dance.” She said with a laugh, shaking her head at him.
“Hmm, well I’m getting hungry, maybe we should go get a snack.” He said with a suggestive grin, giving her a look over. Yeah, it was time for her to make her escape.
