Yva giggled right along with Siorreya, “Funny, I think you mean tipsy.” She grinned and couldn’t help herself, “I think I’m going to win after all. You’re a total lightweight.” She’d also had more chances to drink, but Yva was pretty confident she still had a better tolerance than Sio did after seeing just how giggly the older woman was getting. All the wine sneaking she’d done was paying off, it seemed. Or maybe it was her sailor’s blood. Or both? But it had taken another moment for her to register what Siorreya meant about her needing a flight tomorrow. She gasped in mock indignation, “I’ve no idea what you could possibly mean by that.” But she grinned at the blonde, glad to know she had someone willing ready to take her should she indeed find herself in need of a quick flight… and she definitely planned to need one.
Kekoa was at it again with his compliments and she laughed softly, “I’d say it suits you pretty well.” For a moment she tried to imagine him blonde and just ended up giggling to herself because she couldn’t see it. No, dark hair definitely worked better for him. His eyes were on her the entire time as he drank from her targeted never and it didn’t help her impatience one bit. The way he reacted to her never was like a promise of what was waiting for her, if she would just give in and let him catch her already. Shells, but he was too tempting. She wasn’t done playing yet, but the thought to excuse herself flitted briefly across her mind, sure that Kekoa would follow her if she did, and this torturous waiting could end.
Siorreya’s voice brought her back and she glanced over to see her licking wine from her fingers. With a soft giggle, she shook her head, feeling like the world continued to wobble even after she’d stopped moving, “You better get some practice in for if we ever play this again.” Her gaze shifted to Ceela, curious what her friend might say next. She’d opened things up for much juicier nevers and she hoped the others would follow suit. Ceela leaned forward before finishing hers and Yva found herself leaning forward in anticipation. The word was at first met with soft giggles at how Ceela had insisted on whispering it, and then she realized that not only could she not drink again, but now Kekoa would know she’d never gone that far. She liked to think she could act like she was decently experienced when it came to intimacy and now her cover was blown… not that it wouldn’t have been later anyway.
Her gaze flicked to Siorreya as Ceela specified her never to be unrelated to dragonlust. Sio seemed a lot freer about such things than Ceela was, so Yva was pretty sure she would drink. Lucky her, in more than one way. Sitting back in her chair, Yva felt a bit warm and realized a light blush was starting to color her cheeks. She pursed her lips. That was stupid. It made no sense to be embarrassed about her lack of experience, did it? In the Hold, it would make sense to be embarrassed about having experience, but this was the Weyr, and sex wasn’t something to be ashamed about here, so maybe her mind was working backwards to go with it… not having sex was shameful? She rubbed a hand over her face at those thoughts, thinking it was all just stupid. Embarrassment wasn’t something Yva felt much, and she didn’t like it at all. At least she could pass off the redness as being from the drink.
