He pushed his stark auburn hair back, shaking off the chill of between. He needed some hot klah. He also hoped his hair wasn’t too wild. He wanted to look good for Mavros.
We are Chizaith and G’der, from Benden, looking to be welcomed.
His bonded trumpeted out a greeting to the dragon on watch, who trumpeted back a welcome and instructions on where to land. This was the tall red-head’s first time in Mavros. It was a small weyr, but a weyr all the same. He had reason to be proud, after all, his daughter was a dragonrider here. He looked forward to seeing her, showing her off. It was strange to think about his children. He knew almost none of them personally. Barely could remember what some of them looked like. He remembered most of their names at least. This was his first child to bond to a dragon. Just showed how strong his seed was.
They landed per the instructions, and G’der patted his dragon, dismounting with ease. He spotted a tall brunette speaking to another man. She was pretty, her hair short, her body curved oh so nicely. He licked his lips. He approached, feeling extra cocky. The man left before he reached them, which was just fine for him. “Hello miss, I don’t suppose you could help me out?”
The brunette turned to him, and he raised one eyebrow, looking her up and down appreciatively. Both her eyebrows shot up at the attention, and then she narrowed her eyes.
“With what exactly?” She asked sharply, and he gave a sly smile, thinking of all the crude things he could say to that. But that wasn’t why he was here.
“Well, my lady, I am looking for my daughter, she’s a dragonrider here, her name is Siorreya.”
The brunette laughed, tilting her head to one side. It showed off her long elegant neck oh so nicely. “Why does it not surprise me that you are her father?” She shook her head, and G’der wondered what that could mean. “Sio won’t be here. It’s her free day. If you want to get a hold of her, you can call her through Amagetith.”
Amagetith? It was a nice strong name. He approved. Just another testament to his strong blood.
“Thank you my lady-” He emphasized the pause, and she gave her name.
“Ny’x of blue Nimocith.” She gave it, and he bowed. The number of female blueriders were growing, and it was slightly disconcerting. He liked his women on greens. It just fit women better.
“Well lady Ny’x, I must beg one more thing. I don’t suppose you could give me directions to where I can get some hot Klah.”
He listened avidly, enjoying watching her pink lips. He gave her some more praise and thanks, and before she left the brunette asked him to pass on a hello to his daughter. He would just have to do that.
Chiz, won’t you call on Amagetith and request my daughter meet me in the dining cavern?
Of course mine. Enjoy. I am going to find a hot sunny rock. His dragon departed, but not before he heard the blue convey his message. He started off, following the pretty brunette’s directions. Maybe he would have to see after this Ny’x before he left, just for one more thanks, and offer is help in any way.

Siorreya - Green Amagetith
Siorreya stormed away. She didn’t know why her feet were carrying her closer to the weyr and farther from the beach. She also didn’t know why she was so angry at her bonded. She hoped her dragon would forget this soon, the last thing she wanted was to hurt the green. The eyes came to her mind, the eyes that haunted her memories. The red mussed hair. She knew who G’der was, and she didn’t want to see him. Why was he here?
She had left her dragon far behind her on the sands, and wanted to call to her, to apologize and have her come to comfort her; but her pride kept her from doing so. Her dragon had just been herself, curious. Asking the blue, who had relayed the message that she was wanted at the dining cavern, who he and his rider were was a normal thing. She would apologize later. Now she had to focus. The blonde needed to breathe, clear her mind, and stop caring. She couldn’t let him know how angry, nervous, hurt, she was. The small woman had way too many feelings flowing through her. G’der. When was the last time she had seen him? So many turns.
Her wet hair was slicked back, dripping onto her back, chilling her more. She should have just stayed at the beach.
She was walking through the weyr, numb, blind to all around her. Dread was building the closer she got to the dining caverns. G’der. Her father.
