Siorreya - Green Amagetith
She swiped her arms across the very cold water and squealed as her dragon’s tail created a wave that swept her up, pushing her closer to shore. “You sun-crazed, flitter-brained wher! Are you trying to drown me?” She laughed, diving back into the water and swimming back out to her dragon. She surfaced when she bumped into the green, and when she did, the cold air gave her a shiver.
“This is the wrong season for an ocean swim.” She said wryly, her lips quivering.
Your lips are as blue as Quilath’s. Which reminds me-
The mischievous green stopped mid-sentence, her headquirking to one side.
You have been asked to come to the dining cavern.
“What? I’m not on kitchen duty.”
It’s not for kitchen duty. You have a visitor.
Siorreya blinked, her only movement that of her arms and legs keeping her above water. She racked her brain and came up empty.
“Who?”
Blue Chizaith’s rider. The green dragon quirked her head the other way to better look at her rider, her curiosity peaked. The small blonde turned away from her dragon, swimming towards shore.
Who is this to you?
Her dragon asked inquisitively. Sio could feel the water quell up from behind her as the dragon followed, pushing her faster towards the shore. Siorreya’s mind was amuck.
I’m not sure.
The reaction I am getting from you does not seem like an unsure.
Chizaith is a familiar name.
I have asked for his rider’s name.
What?! Siorreya turned in the water, coming upright and feeling sand beneath her feet. Before she could look at the green a wave hit her, and she tumbled, rolling. She struggled against the onslaught of water coming, and then gave up, crawling back onto shore. She coughed to clear her lungs.
His rider’s name is G’der. How do you know him?
“Why in the shells did you do that? Why couldn’t you just leave it alone? Are you a gather-fool?”
Amagetith’s eyes whirled faster, the distress apparent.
You said you were unsure, and I was curious. I just wanted to know. I didn't realize this would upset you so.
“Well now you know. Thanks.”
Are you going to meet with them? I am so sorry, mine. So sorry.
Her dragon’s sorrow was immense, and it whirled through the small blonde. She angrily pushed it away. Grabbing her clothes she worked them on over her wet body. She felt chilled by the autumn wind, and squeezed her hair to pull out the excess salt water. Siorreya picked up her shoes and started towards the weyr.
“I don’t know.”
Do you want me to come?
“No.”
