This egg is undoubtedly that of a gold, and one of two golden treasures in this clutch. The Beautiful egg is paler and smaller than its equally golden sibling, almost dainty in overall shape. The shell is several shades of lighter gold; buttery yellows and creamy pale golds play across the overall yellow golden shell with each shift of the light source, overlaid with a characteristically golden sheen. The Beautiful egg leans companionably against her sister, the Bold egg, as if they are sharing some sisterly secret between them; upon closer inspection, however, the smaller Beautiful egg appears to be supporting the Bold egg, helping to hold it upright. While the Bold egg demands attention from passing candidates with a ferocity surprising for an egg, the Beautiful egg quietly, and perhaps, politely, beckons visitors to touch her smooth shell.

Fate was a far cry from cruel to lovely Danovelith; something she is fully aware of.[/ul]p e r s o n a l i t y .
In face, Danovelith's eyes are large in her face, set above high, delicate cheekbones and on either side of a broad forehead. Her headknobs are slim, and curve up and then down in a subtle wave on either side of her skull. Her muzzle tapers like a “V” into a softly rounded nose and gently sloping jaw. All in all, her face is wonderfully formed, and looks much like a well-bred runner’s (and dragon’s) head might.
In form, Danovelith is a delicate vine of a dragon. Unlike her twin, Sularenth, Danovelith is rather diminutive for her color and more inclined to speed than endurance; larger bronzes will likely outsize her and even outlast her in 'Fall. In the same vein, her body is more akin to that of a green’s; well-balanced, sculpted muscle and soft, feminine lines, well-suited to her as a dragon and as a persona. Her limbs, tail, and neck are long and willowy, and while most dragons seem awkward on the ground, she easily retains a delicate, feminine air. This beauty even seems to almost float when she walks, each fine, precise movement regal and proud; a confident dancer upon the stage.
At her base colour, Danovelith is a creamy yellow, rivaled in its pale nature only by the white-blue hide her sibling Pavalenth claims. The buttery white color fades abruptly into honeyed amber upon her wingarms and her outer wing membrane, pooling just above her shoulders and at the base of her tail, as well as fading up onto her forehead and headknobs. Danovelith’s inner wing membrane is dappled in splendid shades of yellow gold over a spectacular fade from pale gold at her sides to amber at the wing tips, fading into one another in a manner that draws the eye in; metallic hues that almost appear to move as gazes cross the expanse of wing.
Danovelith could be called a composer of words, an analogous lady of the court, addressing all her subjects with beautifully eloquent speech. She cleverly weaves together her sentences and conversation as part of a symphony score, expressing what she feels must be shared without alienating her listeners amidst the carefully chosen notes. The pale gold caters to the intelligence of her listener without appearing more or less intelligent than she is, arranging her words with a subtle, easy grace that leaves no one misunderstanding their meaning.[/ul]
Her talent as a composer of words stems from an innate ability to read and understand those that she is in the company of. Perceptive, Danovelith can read individuals easily; not their minds, really, but their body language and manners of conduct. These slight physical tendencies give away small things that assist Danovelith with deciding on how to respond to her conversation partners. She is a very quick study and catches on to things easily, learning new things faster than most of her siblings; it is only natural she should quickly learn how to understand others. Settle this perceptiveness atop Srunae's vast span of overall knowledge, ranging from stereotypes to personal experiences with a common norm, and you are left with a dragon that seems to be more aware of what an individual is like or is thinking than they believe they are giving away.
In a similar vein, manipulation is a strong suit of hers. Unlike Sularenth, who has no qualms about using her natural 'gold force' to boss others around, Danovelith finds such a thing crude and unnecessary except in the direst of circumstances. She tends towards subtle manners of control instead; word manipulation. Her talents as a composer of words naturally folds into this skill; she does not order, she asks; she does not command, she inquires. An intelligent lady such as herself should collect friends, not enemies, yes? So why would she treat her friends, her Weyr, as if they were subordinates? It simply makes sense to her, and so she does not influence others this way to be bossy or cruel (and often is unaware she does it at all!). But, when Danovelith wants something of another, she is a master manipulator; even able to get her difficult gold twin under control with her clever words.
Danovelith is unfailingly narcissistic; she loves to flaunt herself, and the easiest, fastest way into her heart is to flatter, flatter, and flatter her beauty. She takes compliments and favors very well... which could become detrimental later on, should the right favors be offered at the right times. Unlike the classic narcissist however, Danovelith does not tend to proclaim her loveliness to the rest of the world (such a thing would be crude and unladylike!), but she takes great care to position herself just right in the winter sunshine, to mantle her wings perfectly upon her ledge, that each and every inch of her hide is oiled and shines like a newly polished penny. Perfection, darling, is in every claw.[/ul]
Along those same lines, Danovelith, much like her Srunae, bottles up anything and everything that she does not deem as ‘proper’ for display. Appearances are everything, and to ruin that with a misplaced snarl, an overly amused smirk, or even unacceptable levels of joy, anger, pain or hurt would be a terrible offense. Danovelith is supposed to be a role model, a gentle guide; she must behave as a lady should, no matter the circumstances! As a result, emotions are checked in properly lady-like amounts; she responds with honest emotion to all events, but keeps a careful gauge on how much she shares, and when. Unfortunately, this will result in rare, but unavoidable, explosions of emotion. Danovelith will always fall apart in the privacy of her own company and kept strictly to herself and her Srunae while the proper air of ladyship is maintained in the company of others, no matter what emotions are raging under the surface.
Need to list 1 or 2... need some ideas.[/ul]
Stately, pleasant, well-mannered... Danovelith is, put simply, a lady to her very core. She is a role model, a gentle guide to those younger and less experienced than she; or, in the case of her twin, those less composed than she. She conducts herself with a gentle, calm grace, as if there were nothing in the world that could perturb her easygoing, thoughtful nature. This same nature allocates her persona a great deal of acceptance for the way things are, and the way things often turn out. She does not see herself as ‘above’ the other colors, and when she comes of age to rise, both her smaller size and her more open mindset might allow for a lucky and determined brown to catch her. She feels that every dragon, no matter their color, brings a unique mixture of talents to the proverbial table, and so all of them have a place at her side.[/ul]
Danovelith naturally falls into a spectator’s role, watching, waiting, thinking over the things she sees so that she might understand the world around her and those that occupy it that much more. Being a very intelligent creature, it takes little for her to learn new things, and so she is always looking for more to learn, more to understand; Danovelith firmly believes that one never stops learning, and often pesters Srunae to learn more things herself. If it is good enough for Danovelith, it is good enough for Srunae—and so having more knowledge is always good enough for both of them. If the gold could read, she probably would have amassed several books in her weyr instead of the analogous hoard of gems. Cleverness is not in short supply with this one, and it shows.
Danovelith, unlike her fiery sister Sularenth, is a quiet, background sort of leader. She gently prods persons and dragons alike in the directions she feels is best for them, or offers up the option of something that may seem more logical. Extreme care is taken in each and every mention of something that might be better, might be easier; it would not do to offend someone, or to insult their intelligence with the wrong word choice. She judiciously maintains a clear, concise manner of speaking, her symphonic verses never containing jargon that could confuse those lacking intelligence, nor so lacking wit as to bore those who are above even her own exceptional level; both human and dragon alike. Well-mannered and friendly, Danovelith is an approachable individual, and will deign to speak with humans she or her Srunae have taken a liking to. Keep in mind, however, that Danovelith is a lady, and thus has a lady’s fine taste for proper conversational topics; be careful what you say to her in casual conversation.
As any well-bred lady might, Danovelith will always uphold the utmost dignity; she will not shy away, snap, or otherwise misbehave in the public eye. A proper role model does not, after all, act as a misguided herdbeast might when their charges are looking for her input. It is unbecoming, unladylike, and certainly does not set a good example. As a result, when those moments, those terrible, magnificent moments, where her ability to bottle up her emotions fails and she feels herself about to explode, Danovelith calmly removes herself from the eyes of her public. Once safely secreted from the outside world, Danovelith will scream, shout, and break things, before calming herself and returning to the scene in her usual regal manner, as if nothing had happened. Still… she does this more often than Srunae might. Perhaps she could teach her to open up a little more often…
In a similar vein, Danovelith doesn’t always approve of Srunae’s outdoorsy, boyish tendencies. She is a goldrider now, a vision of ladyship and leadership; she really must start to behave more like one! Avoid rowing with that greenrider again, please; that black eye was truly unseemly! And that gentleman there would take care of those porcine, dear Srunae, if you asked nicely; and please let that fellow handle that ghastly herdbeast and take a bath—Danovelith does not want to know what is all over your clothes because of this job. While Danovelith approves of Srunae’s hardworking nature because of her prior work experience, she really does not like what it does to her appearance—and appearances are everything.
Danovelith has a feminine, low-toned melodic voice that is both pleasant and soothing to the listener, infused with a well-bred air as if she was raised in the most proper of households. She speaks with both compassion and conviction, as if she is never unsure of anything she says, and her words are never cruel, mocking, or dismissive. Instead, they are well-thought out, clear, and concise, so that no one can cite misunderstanding her tone. In times of distress, her voice becomes sharp and clipped, but such occurrences are few and far between – a lady should not raise her voice nor snap at her conversation partner. It is unbecoming! The images usually brought to mind when she speaks have to do with sunshine or calm, placid pools of crystalline blue water; some of her favorites are sunshine over golden fields of grain, and a clear, mostly removed cove of Istan origin, both of which she borrowed from her Srunae.[/ul]

The Bold Gold huffed as the Brown went off with His. Good, he would no longer be in her way. He may be older than her by a few moments but he was still her LITTLE brother and he was ANNOYING. Her sister crooned at her and she flicked her tail dismissively in response. The annoying Brown did not matter anymore, her sister was right. What did matter were these creatures before her, and one in particular. She paused beside her sister, who seemed to content to wait for her to choose first. Good. She stalked forward, her head snaking first one way and then the next as she looked the girls over, her mind grazing theirs.
It did not take her long to find Hers. She was a dragon who knew what she wanted and did not hesitate to take it. She strode forward, shoving Srunae away from Hers unceremoniously. Her gaze met that of Hers as her eyes whirled with the telltale signs of Impression.
The Beautiful Gold watched her sister with polite patience until she moved forward and shoved one of the girls away from the one she had chosen. She gave a soft growl as she moved forward herself, clearly scolding her sister for being so rude. And the one she had shoved so rudely… everything about her was right. She leaned down to snuffle Srunae, her eyes already taking on the telltale signs of impression. I am sorry, my Srunae, that my sister was so rude to you. I am sure now that you are Mine she will not do so again. I am your Danovelith and I am very sorry to have kept you waiting so very long. Are you all right, Srunae My Own?
