Shintagoi
Shin had brought up some hot words for the stupid girl who made the 'witty' comment, but she already turned away and headed for the eggs. That was fine by him. Any more women who got the idea that they were higher than him and he'd be sick. He wouldn't concern himself with the likes of her once he'd Impressed bronze- she was exactly the kind of high-minded girl who rotted away on a green. Feeling a bit lightened by that thought, Shintagoi laid his eyes on the first egg to break shell. It was, it was...
A blue. Shin spat. Cursed clutch it was, and he almost could spare empathy for the boy who was swiftly chosen by it. However, that just wasn't the type of thing for Shin to do- clearly, something was wrong with the then-Ithian to be looked to by a cursed blue. The pathetic Fat Egg spilled out a hefty brown, and Shin winced a little. While the voice he'd spoken to couldn't be a bronze, which wasn't surprising, he wished that maybe he hadn't reacted so badly to it. It was massive! The brown took its time, while another blue hatched. Soon enough, the brown found its partner, dragging a sailor off as its new rider. Shin crossed his arms and huffed- while he was generally well-versed in patience, he figured that he'd done enough waiting for his bronze. He'd had five Turns of waiting.
Tselari
Throwing a quick thank-you to the bronzerider as his beast lifted for another load, Tselari quickly made her way to the Sands, watching as the eggs pulsed and throbbed. Ah, she'd forgotten the excitement of a Hatching, hadn't she? The humming shook her bones and seemed to shake adrenaline from any and all crevices, into her bloodstream. There were so many eggs, and just enough Candidates...Tselari was nearly running to a spot when she nearly crashed into another girl. Luckily she stopped herself from even ore embarrassment, but her dark olive cheeks would turn bright red if they could. "Oh, I'm sorry!" She said in a rush, before getting to look at the girl in question. Gosh, she was real pretty-
Can we not get into this again? Please?
-and Tselari supposed that a little chatter while waiting for eggs wouldn't hurt. But before she could say anything else, one of the browns that hatched had walked over to a man near them and flashed rainbow eyes. Tselari's heart hurt a little. Two hatchlings already Impressed, two colors that she could theoretically Impress. Two out of twenty-five already, but there was a third blue wandering the Sands. Tselari cast a glance towards the girl, who was cheering on the newest Impressee- the sight did bring a smile to her face. "So, he's close to you?" Tselari offered- best to be friendly.
