Shintagoi
For a moment, Shin wondered if he was being passed up and his nostrils flared some. He never liked being ignored by eggs, as if they saw themselves better than him. Or was it afraid of him? He would appreciate the fear from a green or blue egg, but this egg was large and theoretically a bronze or brown. Those colors weren't supposed to be afraid. Quickly, his mind flashed back to the Giant Egg, him thinking it was a massive bronze. He remembered the hesitation conflicting with the confidence he got from it, but this egg wasn't nearly large enough to be a twin egg.
Just before Shintagoi could take his hand away, though, something happened. A little, quiet pinprick on his mind, the telltale sign of an egg's presence. It was indeed home, yes. And Shin found himself horribly disappointed in this egg. Whatever contact between them was faint, and there was no hint of confidence in the egg. It was stupid. Big eggs like this one shouldn't be fearful. With a snarl, Shin nearly ripped his hand off the shell, though he was careful not to make too fast of a movement- for all his pride, he wasn't really interested in the sorry fate of being gold-bait. He looked to the two other eggs in the pocket, wondering if they were just as incompetent as the last one. The shiny-looking egg was a good size, and the other egg was rather small, so he ignored it.
"Well, it's time to test yourself." He muttered, as he placed a palm on the shell of the Shiny Egg.
Tselari
Tselari was met with an immediate response, almost as if the dragonet inside had been waiting and eager for contact. A lonely soul, perhaps? She found herself quickly overwhelmed with the noise of the egg, but she didn't take her hand away. It was inconsiderate, no doubt, but she didn't have much time to mull it over before the creature inside began to probe at her memories. One would think that two times of this would prepare her for the power of the minds inside, but it felt as if she were being backed into a wall. But, she was intent on giving the little one inside a chance. It had been stuck inside that egg for a while- maybe it was just excited.
It began to question her about the memories of her touchings, and wondered about if she enjoyed it so much. Tselari pursed her lips in thought. Well, she did, yes? "There's something about meeting such powerful minds that it's just...oh, I don't know. It's weird to think that dragons can think and respond when they haven't even been born yet. But I guess that's not a foreign concept to you, is it?" Tselari softly chuckled, though at what she wasn't sure. "It hasn't gotten old for me yet. But I've only touched eggs two times now. It must get old for someone who has stood for Turns, though."
She could feel the curious one feel around for more memories, and Tselari had suddenly thought of T'skel and his blue. Welp, that was out in the open now, and the girl knew that the dragon would see the image at the forefront of her mind. "Sorry about that. That's my brother- he Impressed a dragon like you."
