Kenessia and Green Nimiath :: A'dion and Bronze Zevranth :: Candidate Melana
Kenessia, after making sure all the candidates were situated, looked up into the stands to find R'zon. Spotting him near Zenelle and her son Kyzen, she made her way over to them. Nimiath had found Leviath at some point, and had perched next to him, leaning idly on him out of sheer want for relaxation.
Greetings again, Leviath. Are you excited to see what the half-wit is capable of? She spoke ill of Fath's intelligence, but the tone of her mind-voice indicated she did care for her bronze sibling. In some fashion. He amused her, and she was a bit protective of him as he 'needed to be protected because he's not smart enough to do it himself'.
Kes came up to R'zon and nuzzled his arm, kissing the shoulder and lacing her fingers with his,
"Hey," she whispered, "excited?" She asked eagerly, settling next to him and idly crossing her legs at the knee. It was obvious she was eager to see Azzy's legacy unfold, as her friend's dragon had sired not one, but two golds! And a very striking Bronze, it seemed. Oh she was so happy for him.
Melana had been staring at the eggs with almost violent intensity, so much so that she'd brought herself closer to Belizor. When the Bronze hatched, she'd grabbed onto his arm, startled out of her reverie. Now she stared at the deep colored bronze, head tilting curiously. An odd color for the creature, but not unattractive. Only then did she realize she was clinging to a very attractive male. ... Oh well. Idly chatting to him, she opened with,
"I wonder if that Green will Impress at all." Clearly she didn't like Greens. Or did she, and she was just observing the Bronze's waspish response to the Green's interest in one of the males. Who knew.
A'dion leaned against Zevranth's foreleg as the Bronze settled on a higher ledge. He had originally wanted to be near Talaria when it happened, but as she was nowhere to be found, and the stands were quickly filling up he'd resigned himself to sitting this one out with his dragon.
Not that he minded; Zev was amazing company, in his silence and clearly awe-inspiring charm.
I love you too.
Oh shut up, you bag of loose skin.
What is your problem? You've been a wherry since all this started. A'dion grit his teeth. A handsome bronze burst from the shell, and he surveyed the stands like he owned the place. He probably did. Then a Green hatched, and was quickly shooed away when she dared show interest in a male. Ha, funny.
Talaria is ignoring me, and I've had it up to here with her barely talking to me since Tanith's flight. It's aggrivating, annoying and ... and ...
Hurtful.
.... Tch. I don't need her. I want a woman that will actually love me, not snarl at me when I try to touch her or, god forbid, cringe when I kiss her.
She has never done that and you know it.
But she might.
You're such a hatchling.
Go to between. Secretly, A'dion hoped that brat he'd brought up to the sands Impressed Green so Zev could catch her and A'dion would put him in his place.
You're awful angry.
I don't even want to talk to you.
Good luck; I'm in your miiiinnd.
Geez you've been around Kes too long.
She gives back rubs. A'dion pinched the bridge of his nose, looking down. He saw his cousin settle next to the boy he'd taken her from, and he was half a mind to go drag her up to him where she'd be safe.
You leave Nimiath's alone or so help me I'll sit on you. The rider threw up his hands and fell into a sitting position Indian style, gritting his teeth as he watched.
