Oh, lovely lady, my heart is aching.
How can you not see what you mean to me?
Your eyes of blue, their shades of ocean true,
Pierce me to my core, oh how they make me soar.
I’ll dream of you, as you make me feel new-
How can you not see what you mean to me?

Kekoa stopped strumming as he met eyes with a blue-eyed lady, winking and smiling brightly at her. The random stranger had paused to listen to his pure tenor voice, but as she met his gaze, she giggled and blushed, then continued her way. That was fine, she was pretty, but he had seen prettier. He continued his strum on his gitar, leaning casually against a tree and enjoying the shade it provided him. This was his favorite spot as it also gave him a great view of all the young ladies passing by, as it was just outside the harper hall. There would be a gather soon, the best time for him really to put his songs to work. He looked forward to the ladies dressed in their finery, the dancing, the food, and of course, the music. But until then, he would work on his love songs, and his winks.
He hummed as he thought of words he could put to song, words that would speak to the hearts of the women. He sighed dramatically and closed his eyes, changing his tune to a more upbeat rhythm. He opened his eyes and stared at the sky, thinking back to the time when he had first arrived on dragon back. The brunette had changed much since that time, his skills with his gitar had grown, and his prowess hadn’t fallen behind at all. But he still thought much of that flight, the wind in his hair, the cold of between, and the strong muscles under him.
He daydreamed of that time, and the idea of being a rider. It was then when a blue dragon popped into the sky out of nowhere. Songs of dragons filled his mind as he watched it descend.
