APPEARANCE: Tellamuth is built lightly as far as whites go, though most of Mavros will have never seen one to compare him to. In length, the white comes in at 20 feet from nose to tail, with a long, whip-like tail and a perfectly shaped wedge of a head. His limbs are slender but laced with lean, strong sinew indicative of the sport’s extreme flexibility. He can turn on a dime in the air and weave into places even the smallest of greens cannot manage, and his long, sharp wings help to extend his endurance a mite longer than one would expect. Like all whites, his hide is completely unmarked, a pristine white overlay by a faint opalescent sheen in the other colors of his species - bronze, brown, blue, green and gold. As an additional note, like all whites, Tellamuth is physically neuter and uninterested in flights, chases, or anything of the sort. That said, his mindvoice has a distinctly male quality to it, and he does not mind being referred to as a male.
PERSONALITY: Inquisitive, Adventurous, Tactless, Independent
Tellamuth is a pure, blinding white with just as blinding an intelligence. Like all whites, he has been blessed with a distinctive sixth sense that allows him to always know where and when he is - Tellamuth in particular also has an uncanny sense of direction. His memory is much longer than that of the average dragon, and he grasps concepts quickly and far more easily than others of his species – something that will likely cause him some grief in weyrlinghood, as his great mind starts to wander when left unchallenged. His imagination is a rich and wondrous thing, and often is a source of curious and unexpected questions as well as deep and wild dreams he will ask you about. His curiosity about his own mind is nearly as great as his curiosity about other people's’ minds and the workings of the world around him. He positively loves to learn new things and will be drawn to people who are peculiar, unique or have a very different take on the general way of life, so he can bombard them with a stream of questions – and he never ceases to come up with new ones. Take note though, if he finds a person has nothing to offer him that is new or intellectual, he sees little purpose in interacting with them. Tellamuth does not intend to be discourteous or rude, per se, but in the same vein, he doesn’t try terribly hard not to be either. It will be up to his bonded to help him realize his tactless moments, as Tellamuth really just wants to learn. He dreams of knowing everything about everything, and firmly believes there is no end to knowledge – so why would he waste his time not pursuing something new to learn?
Tellamuth is incredibly independent and often more impulsive than the usual dragon, as his smaller size means he doesn’t have to worry as much about where he can land or where his limbs are at any given time. He has a tendency to wish to go off and explore new places, always seeking out something different or interesting to find or learn about, and will regularly attempt to convince his bonded it is time for them to go on an adventure. Interestingly, the white also seems to fall outside of the usual dragon color hierarchy. His opinions are generally well regarded by other dragons and shy of a gold’s command it can take more than one call for him to answer. In truth, if a dragon asks him nicely, he will happily assist – if he’s pursuing something intellectual when he is called, however, it may not be done until after he has sated his cerebral hunger. His rider will have to instill in him the value of work before play – or at the very least get it into his head that there will be other pink trundlebugs for him to contemplate later in the day.
Tellamuth has a wealth of understanding that can be tapped into if he tries hard enough or likes anyone enough, and you, his rider, will always be privy to this softer side. He will be your confidante, your advisor, your dearest and most understanding friend, and you will always be cared for and adored. You will notice as Tellamuth quietly gathers a group of favorites, people and dragons alike, from a range of intellects that he will always try to understand and respect simply because he likes them. He will tolerate their nonsense, if they have any, and sweep them away to partake in his latest discovery or interesting dream, should they be interested. A true friend, he will never give up on someone who has proven himself or herself to him once already, and Tellamuth will do whatever it takes to ensure their happiness – and yours. Of all his favorites, you are the most esteemed – you are his bonded, his beloved, and the one he has been dreaming of since his mind opened to the world at his hatching. He has been waiting for you. Waiting, imagining, calling for you - you, Joia, who could break him out of his shell, who could complete his heart and soul and match him wit for wit. He is only sorry he couldn’t have come to you sooner in time.
