NAME: Imperath
AGE: Hatchling
COLOR: Blue - Leucistic
RIDER: Cirene
RANK: Weyrling
SPEAKING COLOR: 3d3477
APPEARANCE:
Though small in stature, he will only be 45 feet at full growth, Imperath has an average build. He is not exceptionally slender, but certainly is not bulky in any way either. His hide is a dark, royal blue, with a slight purplish hue edging into indigo. All of this would make Imperath a fairly unremarkable dragon to behold, however, he also has Leucism. This means that over his normal blue hide are pure white markings. Not blue so light it appears white, but white. His forepaws are entirely white, while only the toes on his back paws are. The majority of his face is covered in a white mask-like marking, and white bib-like marking circles his lower neck and covers most of his chest.
ABILITIES
AGILITY: 7
SPEED: 6
ENDURANCE: 3
PERSONALITY: Headstrong, Ambitious, Cynical, Spiteful
Imperath desires power and resents his position as a Blue for keeping him from it. As such, he also resents the 'higher' colors, every last one of them, for the power that is naturally bestowed upon them by right of birth. While a Gold or Bronze can certainly compel obedience from him, he has an unusually strong will and can resist any attempts of compulsion from Browns, and is likely to tell them just where they can stick it if they try. Unfortunately, compulsion to obey from a Bronze or Gold may be the only way to get this Blue to do as he's told, unless his rider also agrees with the order. Spiteful, this dragon can hang on to a grudge for a ridiculously long time, especially if he often sees the one that wronged him. Sarcasm and barbed comments abound with this dragon, and while he won't hurt anyone physically, he certainly isn't above hurtful comments and destroying someone emotionally. His rider will have to take care to reign him in or he has the potential to do real damage with nothing more than his words.
Headstrong and ambitious, this Blue is more than willing to do whatever is necessary in order to gain power for himself and his rider. He will overwork himself, he'll spread rumors and lies about others, anything to make himself look better, and others worse. Cynical to the core, this dragon doesn't trust anyone but himself and his rider and has no interest in making friends unless they have something to offer him or sees some way he can use them. As such, he isn't likely to talk to any human besides his rider, though he seems to enjoy making a game of trying to piss off other dragons, teasing and taunting relentlessly, often targeting their riders to hit them where it really hurts. That isn't to say he's incapable of making friends, no... there is an innate loneliness to this Blue as he alienates himself from his peers, and any dragon that actually shows him genuine kindness, repeatedly, and can put up with his generally bad attitude for long enough, might just get to see another side of him, one that protects those he cares about with a fierce passion, even if he still insults them on occasion.
Imperath will chase every Green that flies simply to attempt to spite any other males chasing her, ESPECIALLY if Browns and Bronzes are chasing, catching her so that THEY can't have her. He will have a tendancy toward violence when chasing and his rider will have to keep careful control of him so he doesn't seriously wound any of the other males in competition with him.
