NAME: Moth
AGE: 21 Months
COLOR: Green
RIDER: Y'ril
RANK: Wingrider
SPEAKING COLOR: 658a48
APPEARANCE: Moth's hide is mottled and unevenly colored in many places, and can give her an unhealthy look in certain lights. It’ll always tend towards dry, and require regular oiling: regular oiling she may submit to only impatiently. Tiny, even for a Green, she is the smallest Green at Mavros at only 34 feet. With a slender delicate build to match, she could be quite a pretty dragon, if she cared for her hide and perhaps stood a bit less defensively.
ABILITIES
AGILITY: 9
SPEED: 8
ENDURANCE: 1
PERSONALITY: Independent, Touchy, Affectionate
Moth can take care of herself. This is no doubt about it in her mind, and there should be no doubt about it in anyone else's either.
Fiercely protective of what's hers, this green loves and values her rider highly: and won't be ashamed to show it. Let anyone dare try and make fun of her for it! After all, her rider is the one thing she has that no one can take away from her, and it's perfectly normal to fuss over one's rider! But when it comes to anyone else, Moth's not about to be profusely demonstrative unless she really likes them - that might make others think she isn't as tough as she likes to present herself.
Moth does not take well to being talked down, underestimated, or outdone in any fashion. Yes, she may tire easily. But that doesn't mean she has to accept being put in a box, and seen as pitiful, or weak, or - horror of all horrors - cute.
Moth strives to keep up with her fellows at all costs. She won't shirk at the prospect of doing extra exercises in order to keep up. In fact, she may throw herself into them with so much single-minded determination that she'll need someone to remind her to stop when she's overdoing it. She's a fighter because she has to be, and because pulling her own weight matters to her. She wants respect, that's all. She doesn't want to be looked down on. And she'll do whatever she thinks it takes to earn that respect.
Perhaps she resents the other, bigger dragons just a bit for having everything come so easily. Maybe that's why she's so touchy if anyone suggests she's anything less than capable. Maybe that's why she might be just a little peeved when people call her cute. Maybe that's why she might demonstrate a bit of a distressing tendency to challenge and pick fights with males twice her size - and get very upset if they don't take her seriously.
Daredevilish twists, turns and dives will come easily to Moth one day, even though her stamina is lacking. Quick reflexes may often save her injury: and though she may (much to her dismay) find her slight build makes it difficult for her to take off directly from the ground, if she's in front of other dragons, she may very well try and make the effort nonetheless. (Though, if there's a convenient precipice nearby, perhaps she might make sure to be on it ahead of time, so no one would see her having difficulty. Moth struggles, but it's important to her that no one sees: and if they do, that they don't dare point it out.) Appearances matter: and Moth cherishes her independence and her pride.
