NAME: Amagetith (ahh-mah-get-tith)
AGE: Hatchling
COLOR: Green
RIDER: Siorreya
RANK: Weyrling
SPEAKING COLOR: #44703e
ABILITIES:
AGILITY - 8
SPEED - 7
ENDURANCE - 1
APPEARANCE: Amagetith is a smaller green, coming in at 39 feet in length, but she is built beautifully. Like her golden mother, the green is all feminine lines and lean muscles, a delicate vine of a dragon inclined to speed and agility over endurance. She will be incredibly agile in the air, and will likely challenge dragons to races on a regular basis, both for fun and for her honor. In Fall, she will be able to dodge most any falling bit of thread, but her endurance is lacking as a result of her large wings. Her limbs are long and willowy, her neck like a swan’s and her head a perfect runner’s wedge-shape, topped by gently curving headknobs that follow the lines of her body. Her hide is a mossy shade of green, and her side is marked by a large, darker green marking similar to that of a cloud. The dark color trends its way up into her wings and over the back of her neck, and also caps her head and muzzle, marking her with a faux set of fangs.
PERSONALITY: Passionate, Social, Excitable, Fun-loving
It is with one word that I can tell you everything that this dragon is – Passion. Passion, whether from happiness, from sadness, from fear or anger, it does not matter; nothing with Amagetith is ever felt halfway. Everything she is, does, and will do streams from her very deepest heart, regardless of consequence or query. Incredibly social, it will not be uncommon to hear her chatting up whatever dragon (or person, in some cases) is willing to sit and listen, finding conversation topics in nearly anything new to her. Curious and even more so enthusiastic, as she learns of new concepts Amagetith will absolutely have to tell someone about them, whether they are brand new to her or something she had learned two sevendays ago and forgotten about. Dragons with longer memories may eventually come to realize she is repeating her findings again, but she is so enthusiastic and excited about it, only a few will feel comfortable reminding her that she already told them that. In this way, her rider will often be bombarded with Amagetith’s latest finds, recounts of conversations, and eventually requests to explore. The green will eventually realize she has learned (and relearned) so much in the weyrproper that there isn’t anything else really to learn; and so, she will want to leave the weyr and visit the nearby cotholds or major holds on a rest day to get the latest bit of information, gossip or interesting story.
Precocious and impish, most lessons will not challenge her mind as she learns them, and so she likes to find fun ways to pass the time when bored by the day’s events – usually by playing pranks. They are nothing more than acts of harmless fun, of course, but it can be an alarming thing for classmates. Getting up to stretch and suddenly losing their seat, or finding their blankets hanging up in the bathing caverns, or seeing a strange pink trundlebug in their desk (though another of her clutch may actually like that one). She will often try to rope her rider into these endeavors, aware that their assistance will mean more interesting and intricate pranks; it is just harmless fun, she will say, can you imagine Shin’s face if we do this? How about if we stuff this weyrling’s pillow with meat? Oh, is that not a good one? It would be tasty? Her rider will have to get used to the creation of more and more challenging work inside and outside of lessons to keep their dragon busy, but Amagetith will still find some way to make it fun. Luckily, the green will never grow bored during the most dangerous of times - during Threadfall. No, instead she will undergo an amazing transformation, shifting from a social, scandalous little imp into a zealous destroyer of thread, a vibrant, flame-spewing protector of all that she is passionate about and will ever be.
Fun-loving and silly, Amagetith is prone to flights of fancy and frivolous trips around the weyrbowl (after evading her keepers as a hatchling) are common. A principled dragon, however, she is always polite and obedient with company and when visiting others; visitors often speak highly of your dragons’ behavior as they leave – but her rider will know better. These visitors do not live with Amagetith, after all – but she won’t be too much of a problem for you, her beloved rider. Even as she grows and remains ever an autonomous and wild creature, the primordial flame of her soul volatile and puckish in all ways, Amagetith will always be there for you, a light in the darkness, color in the paling rain, a voice in times of trouble. You know she will never lie to you – it simply is not in her nature – and that she loves you, cares about you, and wants your happiness more than anything else in life, and that is all you need, isn't it?
