NAME: Agureyth
AGE: Hatchling
COLOR: Bronze
RIDER: Tak'ril
RANK: Weyrling
SPEAKING COLOR: fb972b
APPEARANCE:
The first thing one notices about Agureyth is his sheer SIZE; he will be 74 feet at full growth. He dwarfs his golden sister easily, despite her being slightly longer than he is from nose to tail tip. He has massive bulk, thick with muscle, and long limbs make him taller than his golden sister by several feet. Agureyth is the dragon Pernese think of when they hear the word 'Bronze', a complete powerhouse of a dragon. The majority of his hide gleams a bright, youthful orange, while the backsides of his wings and the top half of his head, from his upper jaw and extending back to his headnobs, are a dark copper. Large and imposing, Agureyth is a dragon not easily forgotten.
ABILITIES
AGILITY: 1
SPEED: 3
ENDURANCE: 9
PERSONALITY: Bold, Heated, Adaptable, Considerate
Overall, duty and loyalty are heavy on this dragon’s moral compass. He is a dragon of the highest standards, and will do whatever it takes to see things through to completion, to protect his rider and his friends, and raise the Weyrhold out of even the darkest of times. Solid, yet unperturbed in normal contact, the bronze tends to point his rider in the right direction, thinking out the next step or next move rather than leaping in brashly, though the young man may not accept his advice. Despite this, the bronze will remain loyal and dutiful, giving his rider free reign to find himself, yet pulling him back from the brink whenever he goes too far past the moral standpoint. He loves to joke with his rider, and trusts him to use the head on his shoulders to the best of his ability as often as possible, but sometimes even the best need a pointer in the right direction.
He is, after all, a decisive leader, a steadfast rock to lean upon and a firm hand to focus the chaos around him. He is typically a cautious dragon, more prone to warily watching and analyzing rather than leaping headfirst into anything, be it Threadfall or relationships. Yet, when the bronzes’ comrades or his rider’s friends are in jeopardy, he becomes quite brash and hotheaded, growing angry quickly and leaping into the fires of danger or conflict to bring things to a decisive, often injurious end. As a leader of the weyr, it is his duty to do what is right, no matter the consequences, and he will always be the first to move forward. He also is generally unbothered by speaking with humans other than His, and may skip the middleman when asked to tell someone His is on his way, or needs to speak with them.
Too large to complete agile dives and daring acts in the air, the bronze tends to take his time when chasing, and is hardly likely to ever catch a green, but adept in his lasting stamina for a goldflight. He will easily last a full fall, though his rider will have to become very skilled in betweening to avoid injury, as he'll never be very agile.
